Peter McIntyre (1862 - 1932)
Born in Scotland, he arrived in Dunedin in 1879, where he was a painter, lithographer and cartoonist for the Otago Daily Times. It is thought that when he made a colour lithograph in 1887, he was the first to use this process in New Zealand. | |
